Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Inpatient Therapy Team. The successful candidate will contribute to a diverse caseload, delivering physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients admitted to medical and surgical wards, while working collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention in an inpatient hospital setting
Manage a varied caseload under supervision, ensuring patient-centered care
Assist with mobilization, rehabilitation, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation in line with NHS trust policy
Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to clinical discussions
Engage in service development and ongoing learning
Key Requirements:
HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
Previous NHS experience, preferably in inpatient or acute settings
Good communication and team-working skills
Ability to manage time and prioritise workload effectively
Additional Information:
Full-time: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week)
