About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a temporary position with an immediate start, lasting for three months. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Assisting in the preparation and management of prescriptions.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • GPhC registered.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safe systems of working in Pharmacy.
  • Hospital pharmacy dispensary experience is preferable.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in weighing, measuring, compounding, and medicine manufacturing.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to dispense medicines accurately.Standard keyboard skills for using the Pharmacy computer system and other software.Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement.Excellent customer care skills.
