Salary: £46000.00 per annum

Pulse have recently partnered with one of the leading healthcare providers. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Occupational Therapist to join our specialist 60-bed rehabilitation and disability centre dedicated to supporting individuals with complex neurological conditions. Our centre provides ongoing support to maximise functional ability for those with acquired brain injury, spinal injury, and other neurological conditions requiring tracheostomies and/or ventilators.

Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist:

You will communicate effectively with clinicians, managers, directors, service users, carers, family members, stakeholders, and agencies. You will provide compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants. You will ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements. You will support the completion of appraisals and personal development plans for junior staff. You will develop and implement appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways.

What we are looking for in an Occupational Therapist:

  • HCPC registered.
  • Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment techniques.
