An exciting new opportunity has been made available for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our esteemed NHS client’s dynamic team in Heywood, Lancashire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality care to children in a community setting. You will assess children’s abilities, develop personalised treatment plans, and implement interventions to support their development and independence. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure comprehensive care and support for children and their families. Your role will involve conducting home visits and working closely with schools and other community services to provide holistic care.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Experience working within Paediatrics
• Experience working in a community setting
• Driving Licence (essential for community role)
