Are you a compassionate Occupational Therapist looking for a new opportunity to expand your skills?

Pulse is currently seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our well-established NHS trust in London. The role is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours per week for an initial period of 3 months.

The postholder will manage a caseload of adults, using evidence-based and client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions in clinic and community settings, including home visits. They will also participate in planning, developing, and evaluating OT services, with responsibility for specific projects where appropriate.

Occupational Therapist’s duties include:
  • Providing advice, arranging equipment, or recommending home modifications; ensuring safe and competent use of equipment
  • Helping people maximize their abilities and working with them to find solutions to limitations affecting independence
  • Developing safer and easier ways to manage daily activities such as washing, dressing, household tasks, and other activities
  • Being professionally and legally responsible for all aspects of their work, including patient management and other professional activities
To be considered for this position, you must have:
  • A relevant degree in occupational therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • A full driver’s license and access to your own vehicle
