Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Registered Band 5 Nurse to join the Sulis Ward at St Martin's Hospital, Bath. You will assess, implement and evaluate patient care, and supervise learners under the direction of a senior nurse. The role emphasizes high-quality care, teamwork and commitment to professional development.

The ideal candidate will have UK NHS ward experience and a proactive approach to teaching and mentorship, with access to comprehensive development opportunities and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Must have UK NHS experience working on a ward.
• Willing to undergo training as necessary.
• Ability to explain skills to other staff.
• Knowledge of current issues in health care.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate care programmes.
• Carry out all relevant forms of care competently without direct supervision.
• Communicate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in teaching, supervision and preceptorship of learners and staff.
• Take charge of the ward in the absence of a more senior nurse.
• Assist in meeting hospital cleanliness standards and uphold safe practice.
