About the role:

An exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to work within the emergency department of our highly reputable hospital based in North Bristol. The role provides nurses the chance to collaborate with specialist nurses and doctors in patient assessment, investigation, and management of emergency illnesses. The hospital is modern, vibrant, and equipped with outstanding facilities and state-of-the-art technologies. No two days are the same for a Registered Nurse in this role, which involves providing specialised trauma care and rehabilitation to patients with multiple serious injuries. The team is passionate about person-centred care, prioritising patients in all they do, and is seeking like-minded Registered Nurses to join them.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high standards of evidence-based nursing care without direct supervision
• Contribute to health promotion by providing education, support, and advice to patients
• Ensure appropriate referrals to other healthcare professionals
• Supervise qualified staff, students, and healthcare support workers in the absence of senior staff
• Assist in the coordination of discharge planning where relevant
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, relatives, visitors, and colleagues

Who we’re looking for:

• Must be NMC registered with no restrictions or conditions on your pin
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• At least 1 year of UK acute nursing experience
• Teaching and assessing qualification (998 or equivalent) or willingness to undertake after 2 years post-registration
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
• Strong communication skills
