The demand for the outstanding care Haven House provides is increasing and more vital than ever. We need you to help us deliver our care to families who so desperately need us during the most difficult of times.
Our Nurses are privileged to spend precious time with babies, children, young people and their families. We need your expertise to provide compassionate care and create special memories.
As a valued member of the Care team, you will join a unique and vibrant team providing symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as planned and emergency short breaks both at the hospice and in the community. As a Haven House Nurse, you will support the wider team to ensure high standards of holistic care are delivered.
In return, we will support your wellbeing and offer you a learning environment to develop your skills and competencies in paediatric palliative care, supported by our Nurse Practice Educator.
This role is based at our beautiful woodland hospice in Woodford Green, offering free parking and easy access from the Central line.

Accountable to: Integrated Nursing Service Lead
Hours of work: Full time / part time. Flexible working.
Internal rotation between day and night shifts (11.5 hours).
Job summary: To work as part of the Integrated Care Team providing direct care to children and young people who have palliative care needs, in the hospice, home or hospital as directed by the child's care needs and service delivery. The post holder will be required to work a variety of shifts as the hospice provides care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

£29,970 to £36,483 a year plus high cost area supplements and unsocial hours payment
