Salary: £28,285 – £34,767 per annum
The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our team in Grange-over-Sands. This role is based at an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education to a diverse group of pupils with complex learning needs, social and emotional difficulties, and challenging behaviours.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
As part of multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will support educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessment and formulation, you will offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people. Many of our schools have ADHD advanced practitioners, are working toward Communication Friendly Schools, and are Autism Accredited.
You will work collaboratively within our schools and children’s homes, ensuring therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education, care, and support we offer. Your role will include providing consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to the educational and residential teams.
