Band 5 Locum General Radiographer
Location: Carmarthen
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: £31.00 P/H

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Band 5 General Radiographer to join our dynamic team in Carmarthen. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional radiographer to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing top-notch diagnostic imaging services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standard of patient care and will be working with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

As a Band 5 General Radiographer, your primary responsibilities will include performing a variety of radiographic examinations, ensuring the production of high-quality diagnostic images. You will interact closely with patients, providing clear explanations of procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety during the imaging process. Additionally, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to analyze results and contribute to comprehensive patient care. Maintaining and operating imaging equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and engaging in continuous professional development will also be key components of your role.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer
  • Relevant degree or equivalent in Radiography
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably at Band 5 level
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and imaging techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to patient care and safety
  • Up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety regulations
