Princess Alexandra NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 5 Locum Audiologist to join our team in Essex. This role is essential in providing high-quality audiology services, primarily focusing on repairs and ENT audiograms in Harlow. Responsibilities:
As a Band 5 Locum Audiologist, you will be responsible for conducting audiometric assessments, including ENT audiograms, and managing hearing aid repairs. You will work closely with ENT specialists to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for patients. Additionally, you will maintain detailed patient records, provide counseling and support to patients and their families, and stay updated with the latest audiology practices and technologies. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through effective hearing solutions.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Audiology or related field
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist in Audiology
  • Previous experience in a clinical audiology setting, preferably within the NHS
  • Proficiency in conducting audiometric tests and hearing aid repairs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
