A leading specialist orthopaedic hospital in central London seeks a dedicated professional for a diagnostic imaging role. Responsibilities include providing high-quality images and managing patient care with a commitment to safety and compliance. Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, are essential. Ideal candidates should have relevant qualifications and a strong focus on patient care and safety.
Participation in provision of the out of hours service is required, as is flexible working to include evening and weekend hours. The post holder will also be involved in the provision of weekdays and weekend on call duties. The Trust accommodates flexible working and part time working.
The X-ray department has 5 general x-ray rooms (3 at the main site in Stanmore and 2 at Bolsover Street in central London) and a range of equipment including 1 fluoroscopy unit, 5 portable ward machines, 1 O-arm unit, 1 Cios Spin unit, a DEXA scanner and 15 theatre image intensifiers. A newly installed EOS scanner and HiRise Ped CT scanner are available and there will be opportunities to train in both scanners.
The X-ray department opens 08:00–20:30 Monday to Friday with reduced service on Saturdays and on-call cover during out-of-hours. The department is closed on Sundays.
