Job description

Band 5 - Community Nurse in Barnet Road, Potters Bar, EN6 2RY.

Earn £20 hourly on an ongoing basis, with a full-time schedule from 08:00 am to 18:00 pm.

As a Band 5 Community Nurse, you will undertake a variety of tasks to support patient health and wellbeing.

What you will do:
  1. Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular medications, including insulin, Vitamin B12, and anticoagulants.
  2. Handle wound management, addressing leg ulcers and pressure ulcers with expert care.
  3. Provide catheter care to ensure patient comfort and health.
  4. Deliver high-quality nursing care across the community, adapting seamlessly to diverse environments.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans.
  6. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention, fostering community well-being.

Key competencies include experience in subcutaneous and intramuscular medication administration, wound management, and catheter care.

It's essential that candidates have prior experience as a community Band 5 nurse and hold relevant skills. Must be NMC registered. Having a car is essential to fulfill community visits efficiently.
