The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting for a Band 5 Biomedical Scientist to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Derby. We are seeking a Biomedical Scientist who can make a significant impact supporting the laboratory’s Microbiology service.

Position Details:

• Role: Biomedical Scientist
• Banding: 5
• Location: Derby
• Hours: 37.5 per week
• Duration: Ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

As a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology, you will be responsible for reading cultures, identifying significant pathogens, and performing susceptibility testing. You will support senior biomedical scientists in delivering the service and provide guidance to junior staff.
