Job summary
Evolve Staffing Ltd. seeks a Band 5 Audiologist to join an NHS Audiology Department in Camberley. The role involves diagnostic hearing evaluations and adult rehabilitation for patients with hearing loss, tinnitus, and communication difficulties. You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, within an NHS trust setting.
Applicants must be HCPC/RCCP registered, hold a BSc in Audiology or equivalent, and have NHS experience. REM proficiency and real-ear measurement skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Registered Audiologist with RCCP or HCPC
- BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification
- Hands-on NHS adult audiology experience
- Proficient in REM, digital fitting software, impression taking
- Full UK Right to Work and NHS clearance (DBS, references)
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine diagnostic audiological assessments for adults (otoscopy, PTA, tympanometry).
- Program, fit and fine-tune digital NHS hearing aids using REM and fitting software.
- Perform hearing aid repairs, earmould impressions and routine maintenance.
- Provide patient-centered counseling and auditory rehabilitation strategies.
- Accurate documentation of clinical outcomes in NHS systems and audit platforms.
