Job summary

The Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust in Romford is seeking an experienced audiologist to join the adult service. You will work across a diverse team, with interests in advanced testing, tinnitus, balance, home visits or wax removal, and play a key role in GPDR, hearing aid fitting and ENT support.

Four days a week, you will manage an adult diagnostic and rehabilitations caseload, with training and development provided.

Qualifications

• BSc in Audiology or PTP or BSc in Health Care Sciences (Audiology).
• RCCP/AHCS or HCPC registration must be held.
• Proven experience in an audiology healthcare setting.
• Two or more years Post Graduate experience within an NHS setting.
• Experience in fitting Signia and Oticon Hearing Aids.

• Responsibilities for patient/client care, treatment and therapy.
• Advanced procedures are performed as appropriate to the grade.
• To effectively manage a diverse Adult diagnostic & rehabilitations caseload and wax removal and/or tinnitus and/or balance diagnostic patients once competencies are demonstrated.
• Digital hearing aids are fitted to approved protocols including REM and HIT / coupler matching.

Job summary

The Audiology Department are looking for a friendly and team focussed audiologist to support the provision of adult audiology services. You will be joining a diverse and friendly team of audiologists, admin and management, who are all focussed on providing the best possible service to our patients.

We are looking for an experienced Audiologist with an interest or specialist knowledge in advanced testing, tinnitus, balance, home visits or wax removal. We also provide a comprehensive adult audiology service including GPDR, hearing aid fitting and maintenance, and ENT support. All Audiologists are given an area of responsibility and would be supported with necessary training and development. We work four days a week which may suit clinicians looking to address work/life balance, prefer a varied working week or those looking for their next challenge.

Closer to central than you may think, Queen's Hospital to London Liverpool Street takes around 25 minutes by train.
