Job description

West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team supporting the adult hearing-impaired population.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide specialist clinical and technical services.
  2. Format account databases and generate patient records.
  3. Careful use and maintenance of expensive equipment.
  4. Propose service improvements.
  5. Assist in departmental projects.
  6. Provide clinical supervision.
  7. Record patient sessions accurately onto Auditbase.
  8. Participate in mandatory staff training.
  9. Engage in departmental research and development.
Qualifications:
  • BSc in Audiology or equivalent.
  • Relevant in-service training.
  • RCCP or equivalent registration (essential if qualified).
  • Registration pending if qualification is not yet obtained.
  • NHS experience as a qualified Audiologist or student placement.
Additional Information:

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours over four long days (07:50 to 18:00). The role involves working across three hospital sites, including upcoming new facilities and upgrades.
