Main duties of the job

The post would suit someone with a physics background who can demonstrate personal initiative, flexibility, team working skills, and enthusiasm for applying science to the clinical environment. The post holder will need to liaise closely with the Radiology PACS and trust IT teams and possess skills in computer programming and software development related to the team's work.

Person Specification
Education & professional Qualifications
  • Honours degree (First or 2:1) or equivalent in physics or a major physics component; OR Honours degree (2:2) or equivalent plus a relevant MSc or higher degree in medical or radiation physics.
Experience
  • Project work involving extensive measurement and data analysis.
  • Previous experience in a scientific or engineering role.
