A private specialist college in Dawlish, Devon, is seeking dedicated and skilled Speech & Language Therapists to join our experienced integrated therapy team. You will be supporting pupils aged 16-25 years with special education needs, making a difference in their everyday lives. Every interaction you have will be an opportunity to transform the lives of young people who have experienced trauma, or may be Autistic, or have ADHD. If you are passionate about helping students achieve their communication goals, we encourage you to apply.

What will your responsibilities be:

  • Conduct 1:1 sessions with pupils, lead group activities, or collaborate in classroom settings of 5 pupils per class.
  • Manage a small caseload of pupils who have varying Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, Learning disabilities, and Autism.
  • Work with the wider team to offer the best support to our pupils, including our onsite creative art therapists, teachers, and teaching assistants, and take part in Multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • During the school holidays, work from home carrying out administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • HCPC registered
  • A full driving license as the school location is quite remote
