Job Title: ACT Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)

Location: Essex

Duration: Ongoing Contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time hours (9am-5pm)

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £18 - £21 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform final accuracy checking of dispensed items in accordance with national standards.
• Support clinical pharmacy services on the ward and in the dispensary.
• Assist in stock management and ensure availability of medicines.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other staff to ensure timely delivery of medication.
• Maintain accurate records in line with trust policies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A current and valid GPhC registration.
• ACT qualification and NHS hospital experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requiring availability from Monday to Friday, with full-time hours (9am-5pm). The contract is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
