Job summary

Pulse is seeking a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician based in Reading to join its pharmacy team. This full-time role involves responsibilities in medicines management and dispensary operations. The ideal candidate will have NHS experience and hold an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification. Start date is ASAP, for a duration of 3 months with a pay rate of up to £22 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Medicines management and assessment.
  • Must hold ACPT qualification.
  • 2 years' experience in NHS.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time work Monday to Friday in Reading.
  • Support with drug taking histories and patients' own drug assessment.
  • Management of dispensary and ordering.

Job Description:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician in Reading. The successful candidate will be required to work full-time, Monday to Friday. This role is available to start ASAP; the starting pay rate for this job is up to £22.00 per hour all inclusive.

Duration: 3 Months

Essential skills:

  • Experience of undertaking role of Medicines.
  • Management Pharmacy Technician within a hospital setting. (Drug taking histories, Patients own drug assessment, ordering, counselling).
  • Experience working within the Dispensary & Stores.
  • Holds the Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
  • 2 years NHS experience.
