Band 5 - Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse - Northampton

Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse
Banding: Band 5
Location: Northampton
Rate: £17.00 - £26.00 per hour

As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritising care based on the severity of their condition.
  2. Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilise patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
  3. Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions.
  4. Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
  5. Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
