Job Title: Band 5 Community Nurse – Block Booking Opportunity
Base: Llandrindod Well, Wales LD1 5HA
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week (Minimum 22.5 for continuity)
Shifts: Service runs 7 days a week, 8 AM – 8 PM (flexibility considered)

Rates:
Day £23.00
Night/Saturday £30.00
Sunday £35.00

Are you a dedicated and experienced Community Nurse looking for a flexible block booking opportunity? We have an immediate opening for Community nurses to join the team in Powys!

What We Offer:
Flexible shifts: 8 AM-4 PM, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM-8 PM
Initial Monday-Friday schedule (8:30 AM-4:30 PM), progressing to evenings/weekends
ASAP start

What We’re Looking For:
Confidence in community medication administration (oral meds, insulin, SC & IM injections)
Experience in palliative care, including syringe driver management & symptom control
Skilled in male, suprapubic, and female catheterisations
Experience with IVs, leg ulcer management, and care
Doppler training & CHC nursing needs assessment (desirable but not essential)

Driving license and own car essential.

To be considered for this role you need a minimum of 6 months NHS experience within the last 2 years.

Qualification and experience is preferable.
