Salary: £30,000 – £40,000

The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our specialist school located in Calne, set on acres of beautiful grounds, dedicated to supporting children and young people aged 4 to 19 years. We focus on developing the skills of pupils with communication needs arising from autism, social communication needs, and developmental delays/disorders.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:

You will manage your own specialist caseload using developed clinical skills and innovative practice. You will work with parents, carers, and children in a supportive and person-centred partnership towards agreed goals and outcomes. You will deliver 1:1 and small group therapy and co-deliver therapeutic approaches within the classroom.

Requirements:

• HCPC & RCSLT registration.
• An understanding or commitment to understanding the theories of autism and their impact on communication.
