Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and skilled podiatrist seeking development toward Band 6 Specialist Podiatrist
• Clinical rotations in biomechanics, wound care and nail surgery to broaden expertise
• Commitment to professional development and flexible working arrangements

Responsibilities

• Work with Specialist Podiatrist, Clinical Lead and MDT to deliver high-quality patient care
• Undertake specialist clinics as part of rotations in Biomechanics, Wound Care and Nail Surgery
• Autonomously assess, diagnose and manage diverse podiatric conditions using clinical assessment techniques
• Deliver specialist podiatric interventions including debridement, local anaesthesia and nail surgery
• Collaborate with GPs, Practice Nurses, Community Nursing, Physios, Osteopaths, Rheumatology and Diabetes teams
• Participate in health promotion, education and training across the service
• Promote podiatry services to improve referrals and access
