Role Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 5/6 Radiographer to join a dynamic team delivering general radiography services across multiple sites in York, including Selby, Clifton Park Hospital, and the new CDC site at Askham Bar.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver high-quality imaging services including general radiography, trauma, orthopaedics, fluoroscopy, theatre work, and mobile imaging.
  2. Participate in the 24/7 out-of-hours rota to provide critical radiography services.
  3. Rotate through core diagnostic areas such as Theatres, Fluoroscopy, DEXA, and the Emergency Department.
  4. Travel between multiple sites, ensuring varied clinical exposure and continuous professional engagement.

Requirements

  1. HCPC registration – essential for practice within the UK.
  2. Demonstrable clinical experience in general radiography.
  3. Strong ability to work autonomously while managing complex cases.
  4. Commitment to continuous professional development and high-quality patient care.
  5. Full UK driving licence – essential for travel between sites.
