A healthcare provider in the UK is looking for a motivated Occupational Therapist to manage a complex caseload and supervise junior team members. The role will involve assessing service users, delivering treatment, and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate should have completed preceptorship and possess strong clinical reasoning and time management abilities. You will carry a complex caseload as a member of the MDT, supervise junior members of the therapy team, support the development of the occupational therapy service provision within the setting and engage in leadership development as part of the role.
Successful candidates must have completed preceptorship and be confident in their assessment and clinical reasoning skills, be able to manage their time effectively and be a proactive member of the multi-disciplinary team.

Are you interested in enhancing your Occupational Therapy specific skills and developing in an inpatient service that focuses on providing an environment that supports patient recovery and staff development? If so, Oxford Health have developed a Band 5-6 development framework to support Occupational Therapists to develop their complex Occupational Therapy clinical skills and invest in growing your leadership capacity to provide you with the best start as a Band 6. We would also welcome applications to this post from established Band 6's. We have a strong identity as inpatient occupational therapists. This post is based as part of the ward MDT and you will join a service wide OT team that includes Band 5-7 occupational therapists and occupational therapy apprentices. We have regular skill development days, OT forums and you will have supervision from a clinical specialist occupational therapist to support and ensure your development.
