Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide expert nutritional advice and support across multiple departments, including acute medicine, renal, general medicine, and respiratory. You will create and implement personalised nutrition care plans, work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care, and engage in research to stay current with the latest dietary practices. Additionally, you will manage junior team members and contribute to the development, implementation, and audit of patient care practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
• BSc in Dietetics or equivalent degree
• HCPC registered
• Experience in clinical dietetics, preferably within the NHS
• Strong understanding of nutritional needs across various medical conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
• Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members (for Band 6)
