The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 5-6 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Birmingham. We are seeking a biomedical scientist who can make a significant difference in supporting the laboratory’s cellular histology service.

Position Details

• Role: Biomedical Scientist
• Banding: 5-6
• Location: Birmingham
• Hours: Full-time
• Duration: Ongoing

Responsibilities

As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will be expected to cut sections on a rotary microtome with an expected throughput of 200-250 blocks per day.
