Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner (RN or ODP) Band 5/6 for a locum role in Bournemouth, UK. The position offers full-time hours, ongoing for approximately 3 months, with an initial Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm schedule.

The assignment may extend to weekends after assessment and induction. You will deliver high-quality care across the anaesthetic and recovery pathway, collaborating with anaesthetists and surgeons while developing clinical and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Registered RN or ODP Band 5/6 (Anaesthetic & Recovery)
• Experience in anaesthetic and recovery care
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary perioperative team

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care throughout the anaesthetic and recovery pathway.
• Support patients before, during and after surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients’ clinical condition and respond promptly to changes.
• Work collaboratively with anaesthetists, surgeons and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to infection prevention and control procedures.
• Follow relevant clinical guidelines, policies and patient safety standards.
