Overview

Band 5 & 6 A&E Nurses – The Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust. Pulse Nursing are seeking Band 5 and Band 6 A&E Nurses to join our team to work for Barts Health NHS Trust. There are a high volume of shifts available, and Pulse healthcare professionals receive first choice of shifts. This opportunity offers flexibility to book in advance, allowing you to plan ahead and control your schedule. Barts Health NHS Trust is a priority client for Pulse Nursing, providing a good number of shifts within this trust.

Shifts vary, with options for full-time equivalent hours, and pay between £20.89 and £39.58 per hour.

As a Band 5 or 6 A&E Nurse, you will be at the frontline of emergency care, providing high-quality treatment to patients with a range of acute medical conditions. You will work within a multidisciplinary team in a variety of clinical situations, from minor injuries to major trauma, ensuring each day is varied and challenging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy and varied emergency department setting.
  • Triage patients efficiently, assess needs, and prioritise care based on clinical urgency.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure coordinated and safe care.
  • Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care.
Role Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC registration.
  • Passionate about emergency care and committed to delivering high standards of nursing.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
  • Meet framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, clinical references and updated CV.
  • Right to work within the UK – proof will be required.
