A leading NHS organization is seeking a motivated Band 4 Physiotherapy Technician to join their Bristol team. The role involves working closely with Physiotherapists to provide physiotherapy services to mental health patients, requiring strong organizational skills and an understanding of mental health issues. The successful candidate will contribute to both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring high-quality care and support for patients.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our thriving Bristol Physiotherapy and Exercise team as a Band 4 Physiotherapy Technician, at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Mental Health Trust.
The post holder will be an integral member of the Physiotherapy and Exercise Team in Bristol, working closely with Physiotherapists and alongside a team of Exercise Specialists to provide physiotherapy and exercise services to both adult and older adult inpatients.
Patients accessing this service experience a range of mental health challenges. The successful candidate will need skills and knowledge to understand how these conditions impact motivation and participation in physiotherapy sessions.
The post holder may be asked to perform duties beyond those listed, which may vary over time. Significant and permanent changes in duties may warrant post re-evaluation.
