Job Overview

We are seeking registered Pharmacy Technicians based at Queen’s Hospital in Romford. Responsibilities include:

  1. Clinical ward-based duties, including counselling and transcribing
  2. In and out-patient dispensing
  3. Assessment of patients' own drugs and drug history taking
  4. Discharge counselling
Training and Development

We offer a comprehensive training package to develop your skills as a clinical ward-based technician, including:

  1. Competence in the assessment of Patient’s Own Drugs
  2. Competence in taking medication histories
Candidate Requirements

Applicants should hold an NVQ 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. We welcome applications from newly qualified technicians or those about to qualify. The ideal candidate is hardworking, accurate, and has some experience working in a UK hospital setting.

Role Expectations

The post holder will perform routine pharmaceutical duties professionally, providing high-quality, patient-oriented services both in dispensaries and on wards.
