Job description

New secondment/fixed term opportunity until end of March 2026. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated medical secretary to join our team and provide secretarial support to two Consultant Psychiatrists and the medical team at Mary Seacole House, an acute inpatient mental health hospital.

The successful candidate must have great accuracy and attention to detail. They must have a flexible attitude with a friendly and patient-centered approach.

Working with the consultants and medical team based at Mary Seacole House, Acute Inpatient Service, the Medical Secretary will be expected to provide a full range of secretarial services. This includes ensuring that all correspondence is dealt with promptly and attending ward rounds/MDT meetings for minute taking.
