About the role:

The Pharmacy team at seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding healthcare services. As a Band 4/5 Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy department’s operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently organise and manage time to handle unpredictable work patterns.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Solve problems within the scope of authority.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office programmes and computerised dispensing systems proficiently.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC.
  • Proven experience in a UK hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Desirable: Expertise in stock management and discrepancy investigations.Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.Experience in training and inducting new staff members in operational processes.Previous experience with Meditech and Mosaiq systems.Conducting inventory and stock usage reviews.
