Job Description

To maintain hospital clinical area stock items to agreed levels by following a schedule of count, delivery, shelf replenishment, and correct stock rotation.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the security of incoming goods up to the end user.
  2. Being responsible for health, safety, and security of the Supplies area and related offices.
  3. Counting, delivering, and storing ward and department stock, including NHS Supply Chain items and non-stock items.
  4. Following materials management policies and procedures, including calculating and agreeing on stock levels with ward managers.
  5. Responding efficiently to enquiries, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Carrying out non-stock materials management when necessary.
  7. Engaging in customer service activities such as progress chasing and problem-solving related to tasks.

Note: This role does not qualify for a Certificate of Sponsorship (Work Permit).
