Band 3 Radiology Department Assistant Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust

Join our team as a Band 3 Radiology Department Assistant at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide quality radiology services to patients and referring medical staff. Responsibilities include providing clinical support to Doctors, Sonographers, and Radiographers, assisting with manual handling tasks safely, and rotating through various radiology areas such as Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Breast unit, and A&E imaging.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team, which upholds our World Class Care Values. The department is undergoing a multi-million pound redevelopment, upgrading equipment in Nuclear Medicine, MRI, and Interventional units. The working pattern involves day shifts over 7 days. We encourage continued professional development (CPD) and offer opportunities for further training.

The Royal Free Hospital is located in Hampstead, London, with excellent transport links and close to Hampstead Heath. Our hospital offers a wide range of specialties, a busy A&E, and is a center of excellence for HPB and vascular work.
