Working hours:15 hours per week (see rota below)
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our client’s team at a dispensing GP practice in Swaffham, Norfolk. This is a part-time, short-term opportunity ideal for someone with previous NHS experience and a strong understanding of pharmacy operations in a primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting the dispensary team with a range of duties including picking, labelling, and bagging prescriptions, as well as putting assembled prescriptions away for patient collection. Additional tasks include stock collection and general support within the dispensary. As this is a dispensing GP practice, you will not be working directly under a pharmacist.
Qualifications and Experience:
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (preferred)
• NHS experience is essential
• Previous experience in a dispensary or pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures accurately
Daily Rota:
• 2nd June – 08:30 to 17:30
• 6th June – 08:00 to 18:00
• 10th June – 08:00 to 12:00 or 14:00 to 18:00
• 16th June – 12:00 to 18:00
• 17th June – 08:30 to 18:00
• 23rd June – 08:30 to 18:00
• 26th June – 09:00 to 17:00
• 27th June – 08:30 to 17:30
