Job Description:

CPL’s Health division is recruiting Band 3 Mental Health Support Workers to assist patients with severe mental health conditions.

This NHS service in West London is undergoing changes, requiring practitioners to work face-to-face with clients to assess their mental state and determine their needs. The goal is to help form a care plan with the Multi-Disciplinary Team, which the practitioner will then implement.

The team operates within a larger recovery team, working with clients who are not in crisis but may need support, signposting, or brief intervention before their care is transferred back to their GP or primary care mental health team.

Experience working with people with mental health difficulties is necessary, though training and support will be provided. The team includes psychiatrists, CPNs, psychologists, social workers, OTs, and support workers.

Once clients stabilize, their care is transferred to the Primary Care mental health team. You will manage a caseload of 30+ clients, some with severe mental health conditions, including suicidal tendencies.

Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience of working with individuals with severe mental health difficulties.

Rates up to £14 per hour umbrella.

CPL’s Health division is a market leader in recruiting Allied Health Professionals. As a preferred NHS and private sector supplier, we offer exclusive contracts across the UK, providing priority access to top jobs. We also have a dedicated locum team for temporary roles.
