Hello All,

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our team, supporting patients with mental health conditions.

As a Mental Health HCA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care, ensuring patient safety, dignity, and wellbeing. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting Registered Mental Health Nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care and emotional support to patients.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and meal support.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and respect for all service users.
  • Support patients in managing challenging behaviours in line with care plans.
  • Accurately document observations and report any concerns to senior staff.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for both patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or similar role - minimum 6 months experience.
  • PMVA (Mandatory).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS
