Job description

Our team in Norman Power is dedicated to providing quality care to the people and communities within Birmingham. Our unit is situated just off Ladywood Road, Birmingham, and we care for patients requiring re-ablement following a period in acute care.

We are looking for dedicated, experienced Healthcare Assistants who have completed their Care Certificate and HCSW competencies to join our multidisciplinary team. Your role will support patients towards rehabilitation and their return home or to care home facilities.

The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, a professional approach, and a commitment to teamwork, high standards, and compassionate care. You will help ensure patients receive supportive, inclusive, and individualized care. Additionally, you will provide education, supervision, and guidance to patients, families, and carers.
