Role Overview

Supporting a specialist inpatient service for children with complex mental health issues, the role involves assisting in assessments, therapeutic activities, and providing a safe environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Support patient care within structured routines and care plans.
• Assist in risk assessments and maintaining a safe environment.
• Participate in training, development, and supervision processes.

Additional Duties

Under supervision, support children’s care needs, contribute to clinical reports, participate in therapy groups, and assist with activities and outings aligned with treatment goals.

Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization of the environment, and support team members, including mentoring new staff.

Person Specification

• Care Certificate/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent healthcare qualification.
