Band 3 Health Care Support Worker- The Grange and the Gillivers

Are you a caring, compassionate and enthusiastic person?Come and work for us in our Learning Disability short breaks homes. We are seeking a Health Care Support Worker for a full time post (37.5 hours per week.)

We are a team of friendly people who offer short breaks to adults with a learning disability.The Grange and the Gillivers provide respite to patients with behaviours that challenge and complex physical health needs.

The service provides respite for individuals with dedicated health needs, in single sex stays with specialist nursing and support staff.You'll be looking after a small number of patients, so your contact with them will be high.

We provide 24/7 care throughout the year and our staff work various shift patterns across days and nights. Health Care Support Workers work on a rotational basis to provide care to our patients.

Main duties of the job

Tasks will include meeting your patients' needs 24/7.

These could include personal care, cleaning, preparing meals, laundry, meeting social activity and engagement needs along with any specific health needs.
