A healthcare provider is looking for a part-time Anticoagulation Clinical Support Worker to provide phlebotomy services across various healthcare settings in Birmingham. Responsibilities include supporting nursing staff, managing administrative tasks, and maintaining high care standards. The role requires good communication skills, a Phlebotomy Training Course, and previous healthcare experience. The position offers flexible working hours and the necessity for a DBS check.
Anticoagulation Clinical Support Worker (Phlebotomy)
AfC Band 3, 30 hours per week, permanent part‑time with flexible working. Salary £24,937 to £26,598 a year pro rata.
Location: Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Mindelsohn Way, Birmingham, B15 2TH.
Primary duties within the Phlebotomy team supporting nursing and administration. Provide domiciliary, home, nursing home, satellite hospital point‑of‑care services and maintain the smooth running of the anticoagulation service.
Working hours: 5 shifts per week 08:00–14:00 Monday to Friday. Full UK driving licence required and ability to work independently across sites.
