Band 3 Administrative Assistant - Solihull

Band 3

Main area: Mental Health. Grade: Band 3. Contract: Fixed term for 12 months (FTC). Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00). Job ref: 436-7009403-A

Site: Lyndon Resource Centre. Town: Solihull. Salary: £24,625 - £25,674 per annum, pro rata. Salary period: Yearly. Closing date: 06/05/2025 23:59.

Job overview

Based in our offices in Solihull, you will provide efficient administrative support within the Solihull Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. Your role will include assisting the team administrator with administrative and secretarial duties and supporting our clinical team.

This post may be extended or made into a substantive role at the end of the FTC.

The post holder will support the provision of administrative services within the Solihull Neighbourhood Mental Health Team.

Person specification

Qualifications

  • NVQ Business Admin Level 2 or equivalent
  • English GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent
  • Maths GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent
  • RSA II or equivalent
  • RSA Typing III or equivalent

Knowledge and experience

  • Experience dealing with sensitive or distressing issues
  • Secretarial experience, preferably in a medical setting
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Skills

  • Minute-taking ability
  • ICT skills
  • Experience with Rio, Emis, and other healthcare systems
  • Effective communication at all levels
