Job Title:Pharmacy Assistant / Technician
Banding:Band 3/4
Location: Carshalton, Greater London
Working Hours:09:00-17:00 (Monday – Friday), 34.5 hours per week
Start Date:ASAP
Rate: £13 – £18
Duration:Full-time

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant / Technician to join our esteemed client in Carshalton. This role requires working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for executing a comprehensive range of pharmacy-related tasks and procedures. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of pharmaceutical services, which are critical for accurate patient care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, counselling patients on the correct use of medication, stock control, and stock maintenance. You will maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Band 3 candidates must have an NVQ Level 2
  • Must be registered with the GPhC
  • Hospital experience (essential)
  • Use of CMM Pharmacy computer system (desirable)
  • ACPT (desirable)
  • NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician
  • Dispensing prescriptions, counselling patients on correct use of medication, stock control and stock maintenance
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
