We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced receptionists to join the QE Site Outpatient Departments.
The advertised roles are full-time, front-facing receptionist positions, working at busy customer-focused reception desks. Responsibilities include managing high patient traffic and utilizing IT systems for booking appointments and handling queries as part of a team.
Applicants should possess a good standard of education, keyboard skills, knowledge of office procedures, excellent communication and customer care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a busy, pressurized public environment. Training on the hospital's IT systems will be provided.
QE OPD Receptionist, Agenda for Change Band 2, full-time 37.5 hours, Monday to Saturday, between 08:00 - 18:00.
The role involves providing frontline clinic reception services using the Trust's electronic systems (OPTIMS, Oceano, and Clinical Portal) to book patients in, confirm and update patient demographics, follow the correct patient flow, book follow-up appointments, add to PBWL electronically, scan and upload documentation, produce labels, and perform other tasks as needed.
Successful candidates will ensure all processes are followed, working alongside nurses, clinicians, and other NHS outpatient services to ensure a smooth patient flow and positive outpatient experience, handled supportively and professionally.
