As an organisation, Leicester Partnership Trust recognises the important of work life balance, achieved through flexibility.We have a vacancy based at the Bradgate Unit within our Estates and Facilities Directorate for 35 Hours 3 week rota, with shifts between 7.30am and 3.30pm, including 2 weekends.As a Facilities Assistant you will provide an effective, patient-focused Facilities Service (FM) in the delivery of cleaning, portering and catering.Applicants are asked to bring their photo ID and right to work including proof of address to their interviews.Please note in cases where a high volume of applications are received for a post, the closing date may be brought forward. Main duties of the job

Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)Facilities Assistant DutiesDuties will include the preparation and regeneration of patient meals at ward level on a daily basisProviding an effective, patient-focused cleaning and domestic service, to meet NHS cleanliness standards as a minimum within designated patient / non-patient areas within the Trust.The postholder will also be responsible for the provision of appropriate portering services including transportation of linen cages, waste bins / carts in and around hospital environments and patient moves (reception to department or department to department)This role will require the individual to rotate between their responsibilities as required.BenefitsCompetitive salary including payments for unsocial hours, Saturday and Sunday enhanced payFree car parkingPaid induction & trainingPension scheme27 days paid holiday plus Bank Holiday allowanceAccess to Blue Light and health service discounts
