Ball Plant - Tool Room - Tool Refurbish Operators

Manufacturing Products that Matter!

As a Grind Floor Machine Operator, you will produce precision bearing components used in aircraft engines, aircraft structures, and defense equipment for the U.S. Military.

Shifts available include:

1. 1^st (7:00am - 3:30pm) Five 8-hour days
2. 2^nd (3:15pm - 11:45pm) Five 8-hour days*
3. 3^rd (11:30pm - 7:00am) Five 8-hour days*

15% shift differential offered for 2^nd and 3^rd shifts.

On a typical day as a Ball Plant / Tool Room / Tool Refurbish Machine Operator, you will:

1. Produce quality parts based on order priorities
2. Complete machine set-ups
3. Load materials and change tooling and attachments as needed
4. Troubleshoot operating difficulties
5. Maintain necessary paperwork
6. Perform mathematical calculations for machine and materials
7. Ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed

Machine operator jobs will include using various machines, gauging and measuring hand tools, and related equipment.

Skills needed for Machine Operator include:

1. Previous experience in manufacturing and machinery is preferred
2. 3+ years of experience as a machinist
3. Good communication skills and team orientation
4. Ability to diagnose machine problems and recommend solutions
5. Proficiency or willingness to learn specialized tools
6. Basic math skills and understanding of the metric system
7. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs routinely
