Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Cleaning and Waste Operative to support site operations in the Swadlincote area. You will ensure cleaning duties, waste movement, and safe baler machine operations with training provided.

Shift pattern is 2pm–10pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to improve efficiency and uphold health and safety standards. Applicants should have the right to work in the UK; previous baler or cleaning experience is preferable but training is provided where needed; a current FLT

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK
• Experience with balers preferred; full training provided
• Cleaning experience preferred; full training provided
• Current FLT licence desirable
• Experience in moving waste desirable
• Own transport required due to site location and shift times

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of baler machines in your area (training will be provided)
• Assist with rectifying and reporting any issues arising
• Ensure safe working practices and company procedures are always complied with
• Carry out cleaning duties and general housekeeping of the baler area
• Ensuring waste is moved to correct locations across site
